The G4e NAKED is a quick and simple solution for anyone seeking to develop a professional activity using a cargo bike.It provides a 800 millimeters convertible platform, with added comfort thanks to its front adjustable suspension.

Open Platform

The G4e NAKED’s platform incorporates a non-slip covering and openings facilitating the installation of straps. The small width of the platform makes it easy to maneuver in traffic.

Reinforced frame

The addition of two stiffeners reduces the G4 NAKED’s torsion and flexion.
Firmly fixed in between the direction column’s basis and the front frame, the stiffeners reinforce the cargo-bike, entirely freeing the loading space.

WARNING: It is forbidden to use the G4 BOX without the box since the in built tubes are necessary to structure the entire frame. Either the box or the stiffeners need to be installed.

Premium e-motor & great autonomy

German Quality

The large industrial company Brose has been developing electric motors for bikes for many years. Today it is a major player in this sector and their motor BROSE DRIVE was created out of rigorous development of precision equipment. One of the principal qualities it offers is one of the most advanced couples on the market, a criterion which is very important for cargo bikes.

The motor is very quiet, thanks to the carbon drive belt, delivering powerful assistance in proportion to the effort of the cyclist, up to 25 km/h and without resistance. A new firmware was developed especially for the G4 for the use of cargo bikes.


The compact design of the BROSE motor allows optimal integration on the frame and significant weight gain. The motor is assembled entirely in the BROSE factories in Berlin, proudly stamped MADE IN GERMANY.

The battery uses the new technology Li-ion Graphene for an increased energy capacity. The G4 is made to house an extra battery allowing it to reach a total capacity of 1270 watts. (2 X 635 Wh). This equipment makes the G4 the cargo-bike the most autonomy on the market.

The Douze G4 benefits from the exclusive system of cable steering created by DOUZE Cycles in 2012. This technology is proven to increase the handling even in tight spaces, and allows it to feel as if you were riding a traditional bike.

This exclusive system of cable steering offers exceptional manouverability!

The angle of rotation of the fork rotates up to 75º to the right and left. At a low speed, you an manoeuvre freely and do a u-turn in tight spaces. However, the steering stays tight and strong when the speed accelerates. The symmetry maintains the course in case of intense braking. Compared to a classic steering system, the handling of DOUZE are simple and intuitive.

Suspension fork

No matter where they go, the new suspension fork offers great riding comfort, cushioning and unmatched handling for more safety. It is specially sized for the use on a cargo bike, and integrates the pulley of our cable steering. Experienced riders will appreciate that it is adjustable and lockable if necessary.

The hydraulic disc brakes are a must-have on a cargo-bike. The Tektro GEMINI offers you progressive and powerful braking.

Gear

Depending on your needs and the terrain where you will take your DOUZE, we propose to you different transmission solutions. The SRAM 9 speeds derailleur is originally installed on the G4e with a Gearsensor, that is very simple to use. We also offer the possibility to install a NuVinci N380 hub for an easiest and smoothest shifting.

Safety

The anti-theft chain BY AXA will secure your G4 effectively. The casing is nylon to protect the painting of your frame from scratches and damage.

Visibility

The from and rear lights are always available to be seen in any circumstances. The lights are connected to the battery and can be turned on with the RC3 controller.
